Hello, I'm Paul Konasewich. I'm the founder
of Connect Leadership. I am a passionate believer in approaching leadership as a science—a
definable, measurable phenomenon that can be understood. I am particularly
interested in how to effectively teach core leadership skills. These
are still the early days of the field--there is much innovation is yet to
come.
I am also cofounder of
Supportive Listening,
a simple and effective way to provide emotional support for
loved ones.
A current focus of mine is researching and blogging about
social enterprise in the developing world--how to create vibrant
businesses that employ disadvantaged people.
In years past I was a group program manager at Microsoft,
including stints on Excel, Encarta.com, and the Tablet PC. I have
an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of business, where I focused on
leadership and corporate strategy. Much of my thinking on group
functioning was inspired by post graduate studies in
family systems
at the Georgetown Family Center.
I have previously served as Board President of the Bay Area Organization
Development Network. I currently volunteer with
Leap, an organization which
brings artists into elementary schools for multi-week programs.
